The "Above the Hill" project, integral to my focus and ethos, is a pioneering initiative that stands at the intersection of technology, education, and progressive thought. It's more than just a blog; it's a movement, a collective aimed at nurturing a new generation of thinkers and leaders.

At its core, "Above the Hill" is rooted in the philosophical framework of Paulo Freire, emphasizing the importance of critical thinking, dialogue, and reflection in the learning process. This project embodies the spirit of anti-imperialism, advocating for a global perspective that transcends traditional Western-centric viewpoints. It's a platform that challenges the status quo and invites young minds to explore alternative worldviews, fostering a sense of internationalism and solidarity.

The blog serves as a digital agora, a meeting place for young minds, particularly targeting readers as young as 15, to engage in discussions about third-world issues, the role of technology in society, and the potential of education as a tool for social change. It's a space where ideas are not only shared but also critically examined, encouraging readers to think deeply about their role in shaping the future.

"Above the Hill" is dedicated to promoting a new technological direction, one that is informed by Freire's educational principles. This means exploring how technology can be used not just for economic growth, but for empowering communities, enhancing accessibility to education, and fostering global connections.

In line with Babak Faramarz's writings, the blog also emphasizes the importance of understanding and supporting the Palestinian cause, reflecting a commitment to justice and human rights. This focus is part of a broader goal to raise awareness about global injustices and the ways in which young people can contribute to creating a more equitable world.

Ultimately, the ambition of "Above the Hill" is to cultivate a community of a million followers - a legion of new thinkers and readers who are not just passively consuming information but actively engaging with it. This community aspires to redefine what it means to be educated in the 21st century, shaping a new sort of individual – the 'New Man', equipped with a diverse, inclusive, and critical outlook, ready to face the challenges of our time.
